Ophidia is one of a series of ongoing works dealing with Typhonian, Nightside and Voudoun magick. She is the manifestation of a serpentine or even leech-like loa. The panel at the base of the painting shows two snake loa of voodoun; Le Coulevere Rouge and Le Coulevere Noir on either side of the sigil of the Aiossic.
