The inspiration for this painting came from a dream I had a few years ago. The guardian is guarding the gateway to Daath; the gateway to the Nightside of the the Kaballic Tree and it is a creature manifested something like the Egyptian Thoth; a messenger god and keeper of knowledge. There was also a huge golden serpent in my dream which was wrapped around a mountain rising out of the sea. The vulture is a symbol of the Nephilim/Watchers and the sigils are all ones that i made as a kind of formula to my dream. I created the central sigil with 8s and 4s because they came up in the dream as well 8 being a number of Thoth and/or Mercury.
